A team of volunteers with advanced degrees offer free individualized tutoring in Mathematics, English, science and social studies.  These services are provided at a variety of sites throughout Kent County, Maryland.

Chesapeake College Staff prepares students to pass the GED® test and earn their Maryland State High School Diploma.  Each student is provided with a personal tutor/mentor.

A variety of Chesapeake College Continuing Education Computer Classes are offered in Kent County.  Classes include courses covering  PC Essentials, the Microsoft Office Suite, and specialized courses such as PhotoShop, QuickBooks, and Web Design.

Chesapeake College Continuing Education staff offers classes in Basic Spanish I and II and Conversational Spanish.  Classes are taught by a native speaker with a background in both Mexico and South America.

This class is taught by Chesapeake College instructors.  The course is designed to provide skillls in speaking, listening, reading and writing for those with  a limited background in English.

Businesses and groups of at least 6 individuals may arrange custom classes. Course time can be a series of days or evenings or half or full day courses.

The Rock Hall site offers free on-site childcare while parents take courses at the Kent County Learning Center. Notify the Learning Center in advance (compassrose@verizon.net) or 443-480-3812 if this service is needed so arrangements can be made.
